Health and Safety

Within the construction industry Health and Safety is taken extremely seriously. Here at John Worth Shopfitters Ltd we embrace our responsibilities with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all concerned.

We achieve this by following our four main directives:

1. Commitment – to higher standards of Health and Safety at all times.
2. Equipped – ensuring our team of tradesman have the necessary PPE equipment/knowledge at all times.
3. Competence – ensuring all our employees are trained sufficiently to carry out the work required with complete competence.
4. Equality – making sure each individual understands and accepts their health and safety responsibilities throughout the company, from the Managing Directors right down to the apprentices.

In addition to these directives, regular training and testing is compulsory for all members of staff. This involves the understanding of Safety Media DVD’S, HSE literature and nationally acclaimed qualifications such as CSCS cards, PASMA working at heights and St John Ambulance first aid.
